Delivery contract

 

Dagab is responsible for:
• Deliver within a time window of +/- 60 minutes and notify of any delays
• Notify of any changes to the delivery day before a major holiday well in advance
• Deliver goods to a designated delivery location close to the loading dock
• Deliver goods that are packed and loaded safely
• Inform drivers of known changes at the unloading location
• Ensure that the driver can present a written forklift driving permit from his employer
• Ensure that goods withdrawal have been made before delivery to the store
• The driver is responsible for following local guidelines for a safe work environment
• The driver is responsible for announcing arrival before the cargo space is opened to allow for
temperature control, and to inform if medication is included in the delivery
• The drivers responsibilty concerning the delivery app:
o Register arrival and departure time
o Register results from temperature checks
o Check the number of delivered and collected load carriers, and that they are correctly
sorted, stacked and dry
o Check any returns in the delivery app, pick them up physically and register in the app
o Give the store the opportunity to check the above before signing
• The driver has an emergency waybill and, if necessary, unloading aids such as a forklift
• The driver is responsible for informing management and store staff if there are any deviations
and unloading cannot be done safely. The driver has the right to refuse delivery if there is risk
and danger.
• Driver can communicate in Swedish or English

The store is responsible for:
• The coordination responsibility for the work environment and also for the daily supervision in
the store & unloading area
• Check written driving permit to drive a forklift within the area/premises
• The delivery location and the designated location are in close proximity to the loading dock,
accessible and non-slip during delivery
• Notify Dagab when there are changes in unloading conditions that may affect the work
environment or delivery conditions
• Give free rein to the delivery from Dagab, i.e. unloading priority, within the time window for
arrival time
• Be available to the driver within the time window and immediately following unloading to
perform temperature checks to provide a quick indication of any deviations. Destructive
measurements must be taken immediately in the cargo space or immediately after the load
carrier has left the cargo space.
• Be able to lift down double-stacked pallets by having access to a forklift
• Sort empty goods according to instructions from Dagab and store them sorted, stacked, dry
and easily accessible in direct connection to the designated delivery location
• Check the details in the delivery app of delivered load carriers, returned load carriers and
return orders before signing
• Note missing and damaged pallets in the delivery app and immediately report this to Customer
Support/Butikssupport for further handling and tracing
• In connection with delivery, receive goods and promptly report errors when this is not possible
• Temperature pucks are returned to Dagab as soon as possible according to instructions

The terms in the delivery contract are agreed between Dagab Transport and the Retail Chain.
